This Privacy Policy describes how Limacon Consulting (“Limacon”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information in connection with Sim Caddie, our golf-simulator booking platform used by venues such as Atlanta Golf & Social (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
- Account, membership, booking, league, and lesson details.
- Messages and content you post in community features.
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and process your bookings.
- To send account, transactional, and service messages by email, SMS, and push notification (see SMS / text messaging below).
- To provide customer support and to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
SMS / text messaging
With your consent, we send SMS text messages related to your account and bookings — including booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and waitlist alerts.
- Consent. You opt in to SMS by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts when you create an account, verify your phone number, or make a booking in the Sim Caddie app. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- No sharing of mobile data. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging providers (such as Twilio) that deliver messages on our behalf.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity and notification settings.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help. After you reply STOP we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts.
- Carrier liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, email, SMS, and payment providers), and only as needed for them to perform those services, or when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention & security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it.
Your choices
You may access or update your account information at any time, control your email, SMS, and push notification preferences in your account settings, and request deletion of your account by contacting us.
